GREETINGS TO PARENTS

GREETINGS TO THE PARENTS OF THIRD GRADE STUDENTS IN THE MORGAN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Malta-McConnelsville Rotary Club is happy to have given your child a new dictionary today.

We know how important it is to learn to read in Third Grade and we believe a personal dictionary will be a great help. Bringing the book home will enable the student to learn more quickly because their education won’t be confined to the classroom.

While your student is in this very important development state we hope you will encourage them to “look it up” in the dictionary when they need to know how to spell, how to pronounce, or what a word means. Perhaps you can spend some time making a game of looking up things in the book.

We commend you for sending your child to school each morning ready to learn. The students we have worked with have been a credit to your parenting skills. Keep up the good work.

Your friends in the Malta-McConnelsville Rotary Club
