Letters from Teachers

Dear Dictionary Donors, I wanted to personally thank you for the wonderful dictionaries. I am thrilled to be able to provide each of my students with their own dictionary. Spelling and vocabulary are two of our central focuses this year. These dictionaries will provide students with extra support while working with challenging words. The students are so appreciative of your gift as well. They are ecstatic to have a dictionary to call their own. Thank you again for your generous donation. Sincerely, Miss Cassie Weis

Dear Carmel Lions Club, I can't thank you enough for coming to College Wood and giving dictionaries to all of the 3rd graders! My class loves them and keeps them in their desks to use every day. You are so kind to think of us! Kristy McKee 3rd grade teacher

A special thanks to the ELKS for the dictionaries. The reason I am so late in sending a thank you is that I wanted to see how the students reacted with the dictionaries. It could not have been better. They love to just simply sit and read the books. They are always looking words up. I think it's great and so do they. A perfect gift for my class. Thank you for all you do for the students. Sincerely, Pat Sherwood, 3rd grade teacher, Tucumcari, NM

Dear Ms. Anderson, We are extremely grateful for the very generous donation you provided our children. I cannot express how powerful their reaction was as they received the dictionaries. They were deeply engaged with all the wonderful information included in the dictionaries! It was amazing to see the students exploring the pages and to see their faces light up with excitement at the sight of something new. Thank you very much! Sincerely, Mrs. Quevedo

Dear Ms. Mary French, Thank you so much for all of your work to get the third grade students of South Carolina their own dictionary. I always love to see their smiles when I tell them about what you do so that they can have one of their very own. Most of our students would never have one at all to keep at home if you did not work so hard to provide one. Thank you so much for what you do for them! Sincerely, Kelly Schachner
