Selah Heights Grange provides dictionaries for third grade students in Selah as participants in a statewide Grange program. It has been well received by the school teachers and administrators. The students usually write thank you notes that tell how they will use the dictionaries. The Dictionary Project has given Selah Heights Grange a recognition by the schools and community for a community service project.

This will be our 4th year participating and it gets better every year. Great idea and the kids are amazed they get to keep the dictionary.

Our Grange has been participating in The Dictionary Project for about 5 years. I think it is a wonderful project–it is one of the best ways to help students learn to build their vocabulary.
