This will be our third year to sponsor dictionaries for this school. Of any projects we do, this is the most tangible and meaningful. I wish all of our members would attend the give away, they would certainly find it very rewarding. Super project! I can see the website improving every year. You make it so easy!

We began donating dictionaries in 2003 after the sudden death of my father, Roger B. Thomas. He was very involved in the community and served on the school board for many years. He believed strongly in education and his community. It is a wonderful project that is so appreciated by the students and teachers.

The Lehighton Rotary Club has participated for years in this project. It is the one annual project for which club support never waivers. The Dictionary Project is well-known in the Lehighton area. Rotary remains committed to this annual distribution which supports our international literacy efforts.

This is our 4th year. The children and teachers look forward to using the dictionaries. The principal at one of the largest school gathers all of the children, introduces our club members, and tells them about our project. You’re providing a reasonable product with exceptional quality.

This is the third year the Beckley Rotary Club has provided dictionaries to all third grade students in the county school district. Wonderful project. The students are always very excited and appreciative.

This will be our 6th year of donating dictionarys to the 3rd graders in the city of Aberdeen. Both the students and the teachers wait for us each year.

This will be Jerseyville Rotary Club’s eighth year of participation in the Dictionary Project. It is a wonderful program in and of itself. It only gets better when the children find out that these dictionaries belong to THEM and not to the teacher or the school or the district.

The children seem to look forward to the project and the gift of a dictionary. We have been asking them to find the longest word in the dictionary and that seems be a good motivation for using the book.. The project is here to stay in our community. This is the Vandalia Rotary Club’s 5th year participating with the Dictionary Project. The first three years we distributed dictionaries only to 3rd grade students in Fayette County.
