James Nisley, North Platte Elks Lodge # 985, North Platte, NE
We have been donating dictionaries in Lincoln County for 6 years. We receive many thanks from the students. The news media in this area provide excellent coverage. This project promotes educational growth and helps the schools. When we started this project many classrooms only had one or two dictionaries for the entire class. Now each 3rd grader receives a dictionary.
Jerry Andree, Rotary Club of Cranberry Township, Cranberry Township, PA
This is the third year of our Club’s involvement with the Dictionary Project, and our Club members love it and the students and faculties in our two elementary schools in our community are equally excited to be part of this program. Excellent program and very affordable rates, thank you!

I think this is our 5th year. This is one of the best programs that we are involved in, thank you.
Donna Ewert, Kiwanis Club of Harlan, Harlan, IA
Our club members will go into each classroom to share information on Noah Webster, the history of dictionaries, give each child a dictionary, and provide some learning games to encourage the use of their “very own” dictionaries. This has been a wonderful project for the third graders in our community and their teachers…and us!
Marietta Wiener, Kiwanis Club of Oak Harbor, Oak Harbor, WA
This is our sixth year purchasing and donating the dictionaries to Oak Harbor third graders. We think it is a great project for Kiwanis and the students.
Mary Adams, Rotary Club of Grand Forks, Grand Forks, ND

We always order a few extra and leave them with the school librarians to provide to new students that enroll later in the year. It is the cheapest yet most appreciated program we do.
