We have decided to participate in this project as part of our support of the Rotary emphasis on literacy. It addresses the young, who have not been included in our contribution of a literacy room to the library and a stocked bookcase for a residence for the elderly. The Carl Hill Galloway Pioneer Club has participated annually in the Dictionary Project over several years. We look forward to the opportunity to provide local students with the means to educate themselves, through owning and using their own dictionaries.

Our Rotary Club has presented dictionaries to children for several years. We do it as an educational outreach for our community. The dictionary project is a wonderful idea and much needed.

We are donating dictionaries to all third graders and thesauri to all seventh graders at our local school. We have been participating for 7-8 years. The children love getting these books, especially the third graders. We are glad to be a part of your vision to help children read. Great program. Thank you for putting this together.
