Wentzville School District receives dictionaries from Optimist and Lions Clubs

The Lake Saint Louis Optimist Club and Wentzville Lions Club raised money to buy a dictionary for every third-grader in the Wentzville School District. The joint effort was in conjunction with The Dictionary Project. This is the fourth year the Optimist Club has been involved with The Dictionary Project. Due to the recent tremendous growth in the area, the Optimists found they were unable to continue the effort on their own and invited the Lions Club to join them in their mission. Companies that made significant donations include Palombi Vision, AmerenUE and United Parcel Service.
