Dictionaries provided for local kids

 The Dictionary Fund, originally established at the Community Foundation by Dahmen Brown and Mary Gallagher, is providing area third graders with their own dictionaries through The Dictionary Project, a national organization committed to providing students with their own personal dictionaries. A 500 dollar sponsorship from the Rotary will help serve 422 students from Allegany, Hinsdale, the four Olean elementaries, Portville and Walsh with the books.
