The Rotary Club of Park Forest is proud to begins the Rotary`s annual Dictionary Project. The Rotary Clubs of Park Forest, Matteson, Chicago Heights, Homewood, & Lansing have teamed together this year to distribute dictionaries to every 3rd grader in their district. A total of 4,000 dictionaries were purchased for distribution to the 3rd grade students of Park Forest, Matteson, Chicago Heights, Homewood, and the neighboring communities.

Today President-Elect Tiffani Graham, Program director Kelley Nichols-Brown, Membership Chair Christel Allen, Early Act Director Gene Sparing, Assistant Governor James Settles, Sr, and Dr. Azza AbuGisisa from the Rotary of Park Forest distributed dictionaries to the 3rd graders at Beacon Hill Primary Center in Chicago Heights. `My dictionary was extremely important to me as I was learning English as my second language, that`s why this project is so important.` Stated Dr. Azza. Thanks to the help of their principal, Ms. Ericka Patterson we were able to give a total of 92 dictionaries to the 3rd grade students. `This is just the beginning. We have hopes to touch the lives of every 3rd grader in our district as well as our surrounding communities`, says Tiffani.
