Southgate students receive reference books from Kiwanis Club

 Since 2007, the Kiwanis Club of Southgate had provided dictionaries and thesauruses to students in their community.

In December, all third grade students in the following Southgate schools received a dictionary: Allen, Chormann, Fordline, Grogan, North Pointe, Shelters, St. Pius Catholic, and Christ the King Lutheran.

All seventh grade students in the following Southgate schools received a thesaurus: Gerisch Middle School, St. Pius, and Christ the King Lutheran.

The 28th District Court recieved 48 dictionaries and 24 thesauruses for participants in the Drug Court Program.

I am attaching a few pictures from one of the elementary schools. This project is such a joy; we hope that we can do it again in 2010.
