Third graders get special gift Friday

 Every third grader at the Durant Turi Mott School is getting a gift Friday. The Flint Kiwanis Club donated dozens of dictionaries as part of `The Dictionary Project.` That project is designed to help third grade teachers achieve their goal of having all their students become good writers, active readers and creative thinkers. Durant Turi Mott is just the first of five schools receiving donations this year. The Flint Kiwanis Club plans to donate more than 200 dictionaries in all.
