McIntosh Grange visits Freeman Elementary School

On Tuesday, November 9th, several members of the McIntosh Grange in Rockford visited portable 5B of Freeman Elementary School. They came bearing a gift for each and every third grader, a dictionary to call their own! This marks the 8th year the Grange has participated in the "Words for Thirds" program. Students were thrilled and very appreciative! Teachers, Mrs. Browning, Mrs. Metcalf, and Mrs. Wall, were excited as well, as dictionary skills are an important part of the third grade Reading curriculum.
