Omaha dictionary distribution

Omaha Loveland Golden K Kiwanis Club distributed "A Student’s Dictionary" to each of the twenty-eight third grade students at Franklin Elementary School the afternoon of March 29th, 2011. Kiwanis members Kim Pacaj and Steve Maji were joined by Principal Decua Jean Baptist, teachers Eric Samson and Patricia Miche, parents and staff. Each student participated in an exercise of searching for answers in their dictionaries that was assisted by the staff.
In addition, fifteen student dictionaries were provided to Dr. Glen Mitchel, director of the after-school ‘Community Learning Center.’ He will see that his students share and learn to utilize the dictionaries.
