Rotary grant helps students

Students at Washington Elementary School and St. Stephen School were the recipients of new dictionaries and thesauruses provided by the Niles Rotary Club’s District Simplified Grant. The grant is used to support service activities and humanitarian projects and is funded by club members in a program called "Every Rotarian Every Year." This year’s grant enabled the club to provide more than 700 dictionaries and thesauruses to students in third through fifth grades. The cost of the grant was $1,505.

Niles Rotary Club received many compliments from the teachers and administrators at each of the schools.
