Continuing Promise 2011 finishes mission in El Salvador

The final stop for Continuing Promise 2011 was in El Salvador, where the USNS Comfort docked at the port of Acajutla. Backpacks with school supplies were distributed at schools in Acajutla and Caluco. The children were also given lessons in nutrition, hand-washing, and dental hygiene. Additional supplies were given to the Rotary Club of Cuscutlan for distribution at schools that were too remote for the team to reach during their stop.
