Robert Prezzano, Brewster Elks Lodge # 2101, Brewster, NY
We think that this is a wonderful project that shows how by giving to others you can be proud of what you have accomplished. We plan to continue to support this project for years to come.
Fredric Smith, Rotary Club of Wynne, Wynne, AR
The Wynne Rotary Club has participated in the dictionary project for 6 or 7 years. This project allows for community leaders and business owners who are Rotarians to enter the schools to connect with the students. This project also builds the community’s awareness about the local Rotary Club. I think this project serves a great purpose. I’m glad that it exists!

Jnorty, Rotary Club of Norwich, Norwich, CT
My daughter received a dictionary and was so happy. She already had a children’s dictionary but she said she feels ‘smarter’ now that she has a grown-up dictionary filled with thousands of words she can look up. I know her vocabulary will benefit greatly from this gift. Thank You Norwich Rotary and The Dictionary Project! Comment on online article: 3rd-graders receive dictionaries from Norwich... Read More

Clayton Brooks, Rotary Club of Laurinburg, Laurinburg, NC
Out of all that the Rotary Club does, I feel that this service project is the most beneficial for our Scotland County children. So many benefit from this simple act of giving. We as Rotarians benefit even more when we see the voices and smiles of gratitude from these third-grade students. Our children are remarkable; nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart.
Ann Marie Raymond, Rotary Club of Jacksonville, Jacksonville, NC
We have been delivering dictionaries to our county’s 3rd-grade class for the past ten years. We think it is a wonderful program and love to see how excited the children are when they receive them. Some children comment on how the dictionary is the only book they will have at home.
