Happy reading!
The Brownsburg Lions Club provided dictionaries for Brownsburg students in the 3rd grade in February 2012. More than 600 dictionaries were distributed to the six elementary schools in Brownsburg by members of the club. Participating in the distribution were PDG John Sabol, Lion Sue Sabol, Lion Pat Chastain, Lion David Martinez, Lion Ray Furner, Lion Gretchen Xinopoulos and PDG Nick Xinopoulos. Both students and teachers reacted enthusiastically to the dictionaries. They were especially excited to find the longest word in the dictionary on the last page. Believe it or not, the word contains 1,909 characters. As Lions, we know that communication is a fundamental necessity in making the world a better place to live. What better place to start than a book that contains the fundamental definitions of communication?
