Rotary’s annual dictionary donation to WCPS third-grade students

The Rotary Clubs of Washington County will kick off their annual dictionary give-away with a presentation at Emma K. Doub Elementary School in Hagerstown on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. The Dictionary Project this year will provide new dictionaries for approximately 1,700 third-grade students. The dictionaries will be distributed by representatives of the Rotary Clubs of Long Meadows, Hagerstown, Hancock, Sunrise and Williamsport.

The project is sponsored by Rotary International to enhance resources for children and families in order to improve reading and writing.
