Sunbeam Grange #2 Partners with the Friends of the Kelley Farm to Donate Dictionaries to Local Minnesota Students
Volunteers from the Sunbeam Grange #2 and the Friends of the Kelley Farm completed their annual dictionary project this past November after distributing 456 dictionaries to students attending the Clearview, Otsego, and Westwood Elementary Schools in Minnesota.
Members of both the Sunbeam Grange and the Friends of the Kelley Farm are committed to serving their communities and have collaborated with one another on their collective dictionary project since 2006. The strength of their partnership is most evidently demonstrated by the success of their yearly efforts to provide students in the surrounding districts with dictionaries of their own. Thanks to their teamwork and dedication, members have been able to donate approximately 3,552 dictionaries since the start of their project seven years ago.
The combined efforts of the Sunbeam Grange and the Friends of the Kelley Farm to continue their dictionary project each year is a true sign of members’ commitments to fostering the education of students in the local community.
