Rotary and Rotary Interact Makes Lasting Impression on Webster Third Graders
Since starting the project in 2009, Webster Rotarians have visited each elementary school located in Webster, New York to personally deliver dictionaries to third graders. This November, Plank Road North Elementary School welcomed Webster Rotarian Joseph Pustulka, who is also the principal at Webster Schroeder High School. Not only did Principal Pustulka bring dictionaries for excited third graders, he also brought Rotary Interact Club volunteers to help with distribution day. We commend the Webster Rotary Club for getting the community, and the up-and-coming generation of Rotarians, involved in The Dictionary Project. To date, the Webster Rotary Club has impacted the lives of over 7,729 students by providing the gift of a personal dictionary.
