Northwood Republican Women Donate Dictionaries and Children’s Books to Dallas School
Members of the Northwood Republican Women (NRW) are committed to promoting the wellbeing of children in their community. In addition to participating in activities for children aging out of the Texas state foster care system, awarding a Texas college scholarship to a deserving Dallas-area woman, and donating books to elementary school libraries, the NRW have also been active participants of The Dictionary Project since 2009. This year, Literacy Chair, Barbara Vaughan assembled a stellar selection of books to present to the students at George H. W. Bush Elementary, located the Dallas suburb of Addison.
