Mid Westchester Elks Lodge # 535

The Mid Westchester Elks Lodge # 535 in New York, formerly known as the White Plains Elks Lodge #535, began participating in The Dictionary Project in 2007. Since that time, the lodge has donated over 8,000 dictionaries to area students. Bob Lent, a retired White Plains teacher who is currently the Exalted Ruler of the Lodge and chair of the dictionary project, sent pictures taken in the White Plains Public Schools during the dictionary distribution.
