Rotary Club of Boyertown, Pennsylvania
The Rotary Club of Boyertown, Pennsylvania began participating in the Dictionary Project in 2005, supplying every third grade student in the Boyertown Area School district with their own personal dictionary. Since starting the project, the club has given nearly 9,500 dictionaries to students. According to the club, “The Dictionary Project for local third grade students is one of our annual endeavors. This year, due to Covid, we were not able to personally hand out the dictionaries in the classrooms. However, this did not stop us! We were able to deliver the dictionaries to each building for the schools to distribute, and we created a short video about Rotary for students to learn about the contributions that our club has made to the community.“
