Butts County Students Receive Dictionaries for the First Time

Project Coordinator Charles Budd, along with fellow Lion Club members Danny Queen, Linda Goddin and Tommy Boykin, worked with faculty and teachers of Daughtry Elementary School to provide the gift of a dictionary. Until now, Daughty Elementary students had yet to be sponsored. With the support of The Dictionary Project, the Lions Club of Greater Butts County will donate nearly 300 dictionaries this fall and will continue the project for two more Butts County Schools this year. It is exciting to see new faces join our mission of providing dictionaries to every third grade student.
