Rotary Club of Redlands’ Service Projects Include Giving Dictionaries to Third-Graders in Redlands Unified School District

Rotary Club of Redlands delivered free dictionaries to third-graders in 16 elementary schools in the Redlands Unified School District. To fund the project, members host an annual “Red, Wine and Blue” event and have even auctioned off a car. “It is a great project for all involved, we get several letters from the students and the parents telling us how much they appreciate the dictionaries and the members of our club really enjoy delivering the books and seeing the students faces,” said Redlands Rotarian. Members Joe Horzen and Florin Rominu organize the Club’s dictionary project and schedule Rotary volunteers to distribute the dictionaries. John Mills, Joseph Kibler, Allan Griesemer, Jane Dreher, Don McCue, Maria Whitaker Saucedo, Doug McAdam, Lew Nelson, Victoria Marshall, Nathan Gonzales, Barbara O’Keefe, Marvin and Jan Hudson, Ron and Joyce Jeffrey, Bill and Diane McCalmon, Jim and Jo Nolin, Bob Heinze, Zack Tucker, Ron Helbron, Lynn Whitmer, Zack Tucker, A.J.
