The Logan Grange #109 in Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania personally presented dictionaries to third grade students at Pleasant Gap Elementary School. Since 2005, members of the Logan Grange have delivered over 670 dictionaries to Pleasant Gap students.
The Grange is a family fraternal organization that was organized in 1867 after the Civil War and is dedicated to the betterment of rural America through community service, education, legislation and fellowship. Since 2002, Granges across the United States have participated in The Dictionary Project through their Words for Thirds program, and have donated over 1,053,000 dictionaries to students.
