Elk dictionary drive supports another third grade class

 In late September our local Elks organization once again showed its strong support for education in our community by sponsoring a dictionary distribution to all members of the third grade at Ticonderoga Elementary School.

Following their ‘caring and sharing’ motto, members met with the children and their teachers to introduce them to their new research tools and to guide them in a few practice runs using the dictionaries. You can tell by the smiles on the faces of the children in the pictures how much this year’s gifts mean.
