Lynchburg Morning Rotary Club enjoys the Dictionary Project

The Lynchburg Morning Rotary has been distributing dictionaries the 3rd graders in the Lynchburg City Schools for 3 years. We delivered over 600 dictionaries this year. The students are so excited to receive the dictionaries. Some comment that this is the first book they have owned. They began looking up words the moment they got them. We received large envelopes full of Thank You notes from students and teachers. It has been a very worthwhile project for our club and the members really enjoy being a part of it. This is one project that everyone wants to participate to see the faces of the students and teachers. We plan to continue the Dictionary Project indefinitely.
