Overton third grade given dictionaries

The Lexington `Plumcreekers` Kiwanis Club presented each of the Overton third-grade students with a new student dictionary.

Kiwanians Chrystal Blythe and Bob Crandell distributed the dictionaries to the students of Ms. McCarter`s class.

This was a way of saying Thank You to the Overton community for its support of the Kiwanis Club`s annual Christmas tree sales.

After the dictionary distribution, the students had a surprise for the Kiwanians when they presented the Kiwanis with a Thank You card created and signed by the entire third-grade class.

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world and right here at home.
