Rotary project aids area students

The Dictionary Project, a non-profit organization based in South Carolina, aims to put a dictionary in the hands of every third grader in the United States.

Thanks to the Virginia Rotary Club, third graders at Parkville Learning Center and Marquette Catholic School in Virginia, Nell Shean Elementary in Gilbert, Franklin Elementary in Eveleth and Merritt Elementary in Mountain Iron are among the area children receiving dictionaries from the project.
