Temecula Valley Elks present dictionaries to third graders
Temecula Valley Elks Lodge #2801 has adopted the Dictionary Project as one of their community projects. Through the Dictionary Project, every third grade student is provided with a dictionary. This marks the fourth year the Elks have participated in this project.
More than 600 dictionaries have been given to third grade students at Abby Reinke Elementary, Nicholas Elementary, Pauba Valley Elementary, Temecula Elementary and Vail Elementary this school year. Rancho Elementary is scheduled for a distribution later this month, which will bring the total number of students who will have received dictionaries to 780.
The Elks organization is striving to earn the funds that enable them to provide a dictionary to each and every student in the Temecula School District.
