Rotary dictionary project

The Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Club recently gave 157 dictionaries to third graders in North Fork, O’Neals, Coarsegold, Yosemite Lakes Park and Raymond.

Here is one of the thank-you letters the club received from the grateful students:

Dear Oakhurst Sierra Rotary,
Thank you for the dictionary. I love it, and my mom loves it, too. So does my dad. I like it because it tells you what the word means. I am going to keep it until I am an adult and give it to my children.
