Elks care, Elks share

Ticonderoga Elks Lodge # 1494 has completed its dictionary project for students in eight local schools. This is the ninth year the Elks have provided dictionaries to third graders in the Ticonderoga, NY, area. In addition to the third-grade dictionaries, the Elks provide foreign language dictionaries to the French and Spanish students in the schools. The Lodge also has an Americanism essay contest for the 5th through 8th graders. This year’s contest theme is: "Why I am Proud to Pledge Allegiance to our Flag."
