Dictionary project

Each year the Thayer County Family & Community Extensions Clubs sponsors the Dictionary Project. Members Dixie Heinrichs and Annie Ficken recently visited the 3rd-grade class to present dictionaries to 3rd-grade students. The purpose of the project is to provide 3rd-grade students in the community with their own personal dictionary. The dictionary is for the children to keep so they can use it in fourth grade and use it throughout their school career. Third-grade students were very excited to receive their own personal dictionaries!
