Thank you so much to your organization for providing my daughter a dictionary. I can’t believe something so simple can be overlooked for a child and we can’t thank you enough! Best wishes, The Corral Family

My granddaughter in the 5th grade, keeps her Rotary dictionary with her Bible on the "important book" area. She carries this in her book bag, and she brought it over to our house so she could share information included in the dictionary with her grandfather. Joe and Xzavea often research world facts with the atlas and her dictionary. 🙂

She already had a children’s dictionary but she said she feels ‘smarter’ now that she has a grown-up dictionary filled with thousands of words she can look up. I know her vocabulary will benefit greatly from this gift. Thank You Norwich Rotary and The Dictionary Project! Comment on online article: 3rd-graders receive dictionaries from Norwich... Read More

Elaine Kam, Rotary District 5000, Hawaii
Dear Hawaii Rotarians, In October, my third-grade granddaughter came home from school saying excitedly, "Mom! Guess what? My classmates and I each got a neat dictionary today!" (from the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise). Upon further inquiry, I discovered that the Rotary District Chairperson, Gloria King, from the Rotary Clubs of Honolulu and most recently of the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise, learned about...
