The kids and teachers were excited to get the dictionaries and start learning to use them. The teachers asked to have them at the start of the year so they can use them all year long.

Dictionaries have been distributed to 3rd graders for a number of years, and that is a great project. We will be ordering dictionaries when school gets back and we can get accurate student counts. We have been providing back-to-school supplies for underprivileged children attending the Devereux Hospital School for over 10 years. This year we are adding a dictionary to the supplies. Case workers make the list of supplies and Rotarians shop for the supplies which are then distributed to the students. Great program.
