We feel that this is a very fine project as the children are very excited when receiving the dictionaries.

This year we doubled our participation and the students were as enthusiastic as ever. In fact, students, parents and staff all seem to appreciate the dictionaries. Thanks for providing this great resource.

This is our sixth year of delivering dictionaries and it is so much fun. The students and teachers are so appreciative and very excited when we arrive with THEIR dictionaries.

We will distribute these books to the third grade classes at Renovo Elementary School. We have been doing this for many years. It’s a great feeling knowing that these dictionaries will probably be the only book some students can call their own and use at school and home.

We love the opportunity to give these books out in our district. This is our fourth year. Thank you for making this project affordable for us. Your hard work is appreciated. We are a new club, just getting ready to be chartered, and one of our special projects concerns literacy. We are delighted to be able to get to the children early in hopes of instilling a lifetime of learning and literacy.

We have been participating since Rotary year 2003-2004 (7th consecutive year). Wonderful project; we love the thank you letters from the children and share them with our Club members.

We have found that students and teachers really appreciate receiving the dictionaries. We always receive thank you notes from the classes. The students always show appreciation for “getting their own dictionaries.”

This is such an important project and means so much to the children when they receive their dictionary. This is Watervliet’s 6th year doing this project. Every year it seems to get better and better. The students and especially the teachers look forward to us handing out the dictionaries. Before the school year begins the teachers stop us and ask if we are going to do them again.
