We have been participating for several years now, and the children and teachers look forward to the new dictionaries every year. You guys are doing a wonderful job!
Ramona Ketterling, American Legion Aux. No. 24, Aberdeen, SD
This is the 5th year we are passing dictionaries out to the 3rd graders in Aberdeen, SD. It would be impossible to not give them out because all the 3rd graders last year told the 2nd graders that they would get a dictionary this year, and also the teachers are waiting for us to bring them to their classroom.
Chet Wilkinson, Chino Valley Elks Lodge # 2842, Prescott, AZ
This is our 3rd year and we have taken on a few more schools and hope to expand further in the future. We think it is a great project helping children at the right time.
Bonnie Goodman, Kiwanis Club of Bloomfield, Bloomfield, NM
This is the sixth year we have participated. It is a great project to help students in reading and writing.

This is our 2nd year for providing a thesaurus to every 7th grader in this area. Our club also supports the 3rd grade dictionary project in this town. Great support to school children by your organization! I started this one year ago and plan to continue to do so as long as the donations continue.
Nancy Olechnowicz, Rotary Club of Delhi, Delhi, NY
Our Rotary Club has participated in the Dictionary Project for the past few years. It is well-received in our school. We think this is a wonderful project. I am a second grade teacher and I tell my class about the dictionary they will be receiving in third grade!
Renee Taylor, Rotary Club of North Clackamas Sunrise, Clackamas, OR
This will be our second year and look forward to the connection with the schools that this project allows. The teachers were thrilled to have a full set of dictionaries to use.

I see every child getting so excited to have their own dictionary….. Their smile, their excitement, their happiness…. it means so much to all of us in the Rotary Club.
Jean McKinley, Pride of Vista Lions Club, Vista, CA
At least 5 years – the students love it! We have older kids greet us when we arrive on campus. Also some tell us their sibling already got theirs. We try to spend a few minutes with the students and let them know they and their education are important to us.
