Ann Fuge, Rotary Club of Clintonville, Clintonville, WI
This is a new project for our Rotary Club. In talking with Rotarians from other clubs we have learned how successful and welcomed the project is. We thought it was time for our students to have this great opportunity. The Clintonville Rotary Club has been a service-oriented organization in our community for many years. We are pleased to expand that service to providing dictionaries... Read More

We have done this for about 8 years. We think this is a fantastic project and gets a useful tool into the hands of children that probably would never get one. It is also good for them to look up the words instead of relying on a computer to spell.
Douglas Clark, Kiwanis Club of Sabetha, Sabetha, KS
We have been participating in the Dictionary Project for 5-6 years. Great program, and the kids really get excited when they get them. We get lots of positive feedback from parents.
Barbara Dockery, Shoals Elks Lodge # 2860, Muscle Shoals, AL
Shoals Elks Lodge #2860 will be celebrating its fourth year in The Dictionary Project. The students all love receiving their very own dictionary, and teachers find it a valuable learning tool. The Elks are always met with open arms when they visit the local schools with the dictionaries.
C Robert Clarke, Rotary Club of Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, CA

This is our 5th year to supply dictionaries to EVERY 3rd grade student in District 150 (approximately 1,250). The teachers can’t say enough about the project and the positive impact the dictionaries have on their classroom activities! The smiles from the children say it all!
Peggy Kolarik, Leelanau County Republican Women, Lake Leelanau, MI
The RWLC has participated in the dictionary project for several years now. The third graders and their teachers in Leelanau County are very excited when our ladies deliver the dictionaries to the classrooms. It is even more exciting when I hear from a teenager that they still have and use their dictionary. Sometimes cracking the book open is just as fast as the Web.
Jennifer Pappas, Optimist Club of Holton, Holton, KS
We have distributed dictionaries for several years and the teachers say that the children really look forward to getting their own dictionary.
Walter Miller, Montgomery Lions Club, Montgomery, MN
We have donated for five years. The Dictionary Project is fantastic. The students really like getting their own dictionary.
Mike Miller, Staunton Elks Lodge # 351, Staunton, VA
I think this our 6th years of participation. This will be the first year we are in cluding a private school.. Great Project! Its a shame but this will be the only book in the home of some of these children..
