We have done this project for several years. It is one the schools (and the club members) anticipate every year.

This is our 3rd year to participate, and it has been a huge success in our county schools. LOVE THIS PROJECT!!

The Wakefield Lodge of Elks #1276 has had a wonderful relationship for many years with the Dictionary Project. We hope for many, many more. The hundreds of school children who benefit from this activity are a crowning achievement for all involved.

This will be our 12th year. The teachers have now incorporated the book into their syllabus. We have been doing the project for 12 years now and have seen how it has helped the students.

I am a member of the Chelmsford, MA Rotary Club. We have given about 400 dictionaries annually to 3rd graders here since 2005 when, as club president, I initiated the project. I also, through Adopt-a-Native Elder, visit the Navajo reservation each year and support their charitable activities. This is our Rotary Club’s favorite service project. We visit each public elementary school plus several private schools every year. With a couple of exceptions every member of the club visits at least one of the schools as part of the presentation team.
