This is our third year and we thoroughly enjoy presenting the dictionaries to the students. We are known around town as the “Dictionary Ladies”. The Dictionary Project is a wonderful tool to excite children about learning and reading.

A teacher from one of our schools, St. Athanasius, wrote to the Knights to say that some of her students had told her that these dictionaries were the first presents they had ever received, ever.

This is our first year participating. My husband and I use our reading skills every single day and are excited about the opportunity to give reading tools to students in our community. The Dictionary Project was enthusiastically recommended to me by a reading specialist who benefited from receiving a dictionary when she was a kid.

This is the third year we have participated. We think the project is a great project. The students are always very excited to received a dictionary of their own.

We’ve been doing the project now for 5 years. I’m not sure if the kids enjoy the event more than we do or not, but we sure do enjoy it and we thank you for your great project.

Sunrise Rotary of Catonsville came to the Huntington Learning Center in September asking if we would be interested in sponsoring their dictionary presentations.
