The project is terrific and well received. The students look forward to their own dictionaries.

This is our fourth year; the member that spearheaded this project passed away this year, so we are continuing this in her memory. This is a great program for a small organization like ours to give back to the community.

We have been doing this now for four years and love it. We put labels “donated by” in each dictionary with the Rotary 4-Way test printed on them. They then are put in the books by members of our Rotary Club and Youth Act (junior Rotarians). We LOVE the dictionary project! We actually have a member that still has their dictionary!

This opportunity is amazing. I could not afford to do this for my students any other way. These books are Christmas presents for my class. I have given them for several years, and succeeding teachers tell me that their students continue to use them throughout the years.

We have participated in the Dictionary Project for 8 years, and it is one of the keynote projects of our club. We like the interaction with the students, teachers and faculty at all of the schools. When someone asks us, ‘What does your Rotary Club do?’ the first thing many of our members say is, ‘We give away dictionaries!’
