We schedule a date with the schools and arrange for a group of the contributing dentists to go from class to class to present the dictionaries and talk about the importance of education. This is our annual project. The children really appreciate having their own dictionaries.

This will be the third year that we have donated dictionaries to the students at Prairieville Primary, and hope to continue into the future. The thought is that these students will have the books for the rest of their primary and middle school years.

Our club has been doing this for several years. I have participated the last three years. Our ladies are always willing and eager to donate to this project. We have been participating for the last 4 years and have felt it rewarding and have received many thanks from the students we have distributed to. They love the dictionaries and the fact it is a gift to them.

This is our fourth donation to three elementary school systems in our county. The children always enjoy the presentation and the fact that they have a book to call their own. Our Club thinks that this is a wonderful way to help educate our children, thank you for this opportunity.

It’s a lot of fun! The kids seem to really enjoy it. It’s an important project for our club. We are a small club, about 20 members, and everyone participates!
