There is nothing like the joyful look on the third graders’ faces when they receive a book of their very own!

We donate thesauruses because Rotary donates dictionaries. Several of our club members go to the school and distribute them in the classrooms. I have previously describe our Club’s on going Dictionary Project.. We feel your dictionary project is wonderful. It not only provides children with learning tools but also provides some children with the only book they have ever had of their own.. This is a Rotary Club project..

We have been distributing dictionaries in the school district for almost 10 years. It is one of our favorite club activities. It is a great project and the Dictionary Project makes is very easy to do this every year.

This is our 8th year, and our members love the project and helping children in our community. We think the Dictionary Project is a wonderful organization, and recommend it to other Kiwanis Clubs as often as we can.

We have been doing this project for several years and it is very special to our whole club. We are a small club in a small county. Many of the children we serve have families with limited resources. So these books are very special to these children.

We love kids with an attitude to learn. Ridgeview Elementary is 730 kids, full of energy and ideas.. Mix that with great teachers and Airport Rotary Club and magic happens every year. It is an honor to help young people reach for their potential in school. Literacy gives each student that special edge to win in this race call life…

The Rotary Club of Seaside has been presenting dictionaries to fourth graders for many years. In fact, we have a Rotarian, 25 years old, who still has her dictionary that was presented to her by our rotary club when she was in the fourth grade.

This is my second year heading the project but the lodge has been doing it for many years.. I love it! It is now a tradition in our school districts and a highlight of third grade.
