I think this is our 5th year to donate a dictionary to every third grade student in our district. It is a wonderful program, and the teachers love it.

This is the first time our lodge has participated in the Dictionary Project, and we are very excited.

We have been doing this for years and it’s been a big hit with the schools..the children look forward to it every year…especially those whose older siblings have already received one… It’s the best project for the dollar we can do.

We have been running a dictionary project for a number of years; it is a well established tradition and welcomed by many citizens in our area. I think the project is outstanding–well operated and effective.

This is our first year to participate in this program. We think it is great. We want to enhance the learning of our third graders in our area. We believe that anything that benefits our young children will also benefit the community.

We have been doing this for several years, and the children and teachers/leaders are very eager and appreciative! Literacy is of the utmost importance! We are so glad that your organization makes it so simple to do this!

We have been distributing your dictionaries for years and the response from the kids is wonderful!!

In 1999 Rotarian Aubrey Horres began the club’s Dictionary Project, in which dictionaries are presented to every third grader in Hampton, Allendale, and Bamberg counties. The project was Horres’ passion, and after his recent passing the club named it the Aubrey Horres Dictionary Project in his honor..

We have been participating for several years. We think it is a great program.
