This is a civic project we choose to support…Our state organization has this as one of the major projects it supports. It is truly a worthy project. The children really appreciate owning their own dictionary.

This is the 3rd or 4th year we have been doing this project. This is a great program. The teachers that we work with actually make projects for the students using their dictionaries. Many of these children have never been given something that is just theirs like this.

We have supplied dictionaries to all 3rd graders in our school district for 4 years now. We generally get the high school interact club involved by placing “Four Way Test” stickers inside each cover and helping us deliver the dictionaries. It has always been a fun and rewarding project for our club to be involved with.
Evelyn Huntimer, American Legion Aux. No. 65, Dell Rapids, SD

We provide dictionaries for all of the third graders in Cobleskill, Richmondville, and Gilboa-Conesville Central Schools in Schoharie County, NY. The program is very well received within the school system and the students really like the dictionaries. The dictionary contents tie in nicely with the third grade curriculum. Of all of our lodge programs, this is the easiest one to raise money for. Everyone... Read More
