The Dictionary Project has been a long-term project of Sharon Rotary. This year, we elected to expand to include 7th graders, with assistance from the Superintendent. The Fargher Lake Grange has been participating many years in the dictionary project (longer than I’ve been a member), and the children enjoy getting the books. Working at the school, I got to see how often the third-grade class pulled out the book to look up words. It’s great!

I have been chairing the program for the last five years.. I believe it is a worthwhile project and we at the Rotary Club of Apple Valley are proud to be a part..

This is a great program. The children are always so excited to receive their books. They smile and say, “I get to keep this?” to which we gladly answer yes.

This is one of the best projects we do. The happiness we see in the children is unbelievable.
