We have been participating since 2009. We love the Dictionary Project. It is one of the highlights of our year.

Swanson has been presenting a dictionary to each third grader for the past five years. Third graders are excited about this special gift they know they will be getting.. This is a wonderful project and puts wonderful resources into the hands of young learners..

Thank you for teaching us about the dictionaries. I really like the part in our dictionaries about sign language. I learned up to the letter E. It is very good for free time. I can also use my dictionary for words that my brother made up to look smart. I can now identify if it is true or not.

There was excitement in the room when Lions Club members came. Third-grade students with older siblings had been asking if they were going to get dictionaries this year, too. On the day, students were squirming in their seats to get their very own dictionary to take home. They immediately looked through it to see what they could find.

Dictionaries are working good for the whole class; a lot of people use them. I remember when my big brother got his, I knew I wanted one. They make school a hundred times more easy.

We enjoy the connection of giving a book to a child!. Keep up the great work to promote literacy and love of language to our children.
