We have been participating since 2004. We love to see the children’s faces when they receive the dictionary. For some it is the only book that they personally own. Many cannot believe that someone they don’t know would give them a book. We enjoy reading the thank you notes.

We’ve been doing this about 6 years. It is one of our favorite projects. The kids love them.

We have been involved for over 5 years and will hit over 10,000 books this year. Love it.

Reading opens the world for a child. To be able to help them open this particular door is amazing. To see their faces when you give them the dictionary in this day and age of the web is very gratifying.

We have been participating in the Dictionary Project for over 5 years, and various school districts have been the recipient. We chose the Middleton School District for the 3rd consecutive year because of the need. The children and teachers as well as involved Rotarians feel blessed and excited when the project commences.

We have been doing the project for the last ten years and love to see the faces when they receive their dictionary to keep for their own. We have the the higher grades still using them when we go back to visit the schools.

Absolutely the the best project with the greatest impact on young children’s lives we have ever done.

We have done this project since 2002 and have given out over 2,000 books to 3rd graders in Pamlico County. It is a great project. We do many good things for the people in this county, but I feel that we get “more bang for the buck” from this project! The thank-you letters from the kids make it all worthwhile.
