Dear Grang Members, Thank you for my dictionary! because I’ve been using it to spell words right in my spelling. It’s really cool to because I’ve read words I’ve never heard before in my lif so thank you so much Your friend, Titus  

This is an annual project for our Auxiliary Unit. It is a great project as we at the auxiliary get a chance to provide these tools to children that may not otherwise be able to afford them.

The Bluffton, Indiana Rotary club provides dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Wells county. We enjoy helping the children of Wells county, and being part of Rotary International’s literacy enhancing programs.

Our program is going on its sixth year – has been well received by students and teachers alike – Rotarians enjoy being in the classrooms and presenting dictionaries.

Dear Oakhurst Sierra Rotary, Thank you for the dictionary. I love it, and my mom loves it, too. So does my dad. I like it because it tells you what the word means. I am going to keep it until I am an adult and give it to my children. Sincerely, CJ

We love our new dictionaries! We promise to use them to learn new words and to insert more descriptive words into our writing. We are so excited that we get to take them home! Thank you, Mary French, and thanks to the Optimist Club!

We as volunteers have enjoyed giving these dictionaries to the students over the years. They are so appreciative and thank us for giving them the books to take home. We of the Kiwanis clubs believe that being a small part of the changing of so many lives with these books and improve literacy in our great country.
